Spicy Vodka Pasta

Cook time: 25 minutes Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil (or your favorite)

  • 1/2 onion (diced)

  • 3 garlic cloves (peeled and minced)

  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes (or to tase)

  • Salt (to taste)

  • 1/3 cup tomato paste

  • 2 tsp tomato pachadi

  • 1/4 cup vodka

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup Reserved pasta water

  • Pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. Add olive oil to sauce pan and set to medium heat. Add in your onions and salt

  2. Let onions cook down for 5 minutes until halfway to translucent and add in your garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until softened and raw garlic smell is gone.

  3. Add in your tomato paste & tomato pachadi, cook until it turns a dark red color, about 3 minutes.

  4. Pour in vodka and stir, let the vodka sizzle and evaporate. Then add in your heavy cream and pasta water.

  5. Taste sauce and add salt to taste and extra Tomato Pachadi if needed.

  6. Add in your pasta, serve and enjoy!!
